How this works

Gilbert correlation: q = C × (WHP)^a × D^b, where D = choke diameter. The performance curve plots rate vs choke size at measured WHPs.

Critical flow: When flow rate stops increasing with larger choke, the well is in critical (sonic) flow through the choke. Below critical, the choke controls the rate.
