Pump displacement: PD = 0.1166 × D² × S × N (bbl/day), where D = plunger diameter (in), S = stroke length (in), N = SPM.
Target fillage: Based on submergence ratio. High submergence (>50%) targets 85-95% fillage. Low submergence targets 70-80% with longer idle times.
Idle time: Estimated from submergence recovery rate. More submergence = shorter idle needed.
Min load: Approximate buoyant rod weight minus fluid load. Used as pump-off detection threshold.
